Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, has condemned a terrorist attack that targeted the Customs joint check post at Aman Mela in D.I. Khan, resulting in the deaths of officials from Customs and other law enforcement agencies.

According to Press Information Department, the Finance Minister expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the families of those who died in the line of duty. Senator Aurangzeb acknowledged the courage and dedication of the personnel who were killed while performing their duties, stating that the national resolve against terrorism remains firm despite such acts. He emphasized the importance of the sacrifices made by security forces and law enforcement personnel for the country’s peace and security, asserting that the nation remains united against terrorism and that efforts to maintain peace and security will persist.
