Islamabad: The Revenue Mobilization, Investment and Trade Program (REMIT) Steering Committee convened its third meeting in Islamabad, led by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb. The session focused on evaluating advancements across key sectors to bolster macroeconomic stability and foster conditions for sustained inclusive growth.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, stakeholders reviewed progress in areas such as revenue mobilization, trade, investment climate, and macroeconomic governance. Discussions also emphasized addressing challenges posed by climate change. Finance Minister Aurangzeb called for a proactive and coordinated approach among partners and highlighted the importance of using management and monitoring tools to achieve the program’s goals.
