Islamabad: The Cabinet Committee on State-Owned Enterprises (CCoSOEs), led by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, convened at the Finance Division to approve the reconstitution of the Board of Directors of the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL). The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry and Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan.
According to Press Information Department, the CCoSOEs reviewed a summary from the Commerce Division concerning the restructuring of NICL’s board. The committee sanctioned the proposed nominations, which include two independent and four ex-officio directors, aligning with the State-Owned Enterprises Act of 2023 and the SOEs Policy of 2023.
