Washington, D.C.: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, engaged in discussions with Howard Lutnick, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, in Washington, D.C. The meeting was part of the World Bank-IMF Spring Meetings 2026 and centered on strengthening the economic partnership between the two nations.

According to Press Information Department, both parties explored avenues for deepening bilateral economic relations. The discussions highlighted enhancing trade, promoting investment flows, and encouraging private-sector engagement as key priorities.
