Federal Minister Leads Committee to Audit National Information Technology Board Directives


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Malik, led the inaugural meeting of the Prime Minister’s Committee tasked with auditing and reviewing directives issued to the National Information Technology Board (NITB). The meeting was held in Islamabad and aimed at assessing the implementation of 27 directives aimed at enhancing NITB’s efficiency and operational effectiveness.



According to Press Information Department, the session was attended by Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, as well as the Secretary Establishment Division and the Chief Executive Officer of NITB. The Committee provided an overview of NITB’s operations and the progress made on the directives issued to enhance its institutional performance.



The Committee evaluated the status of these directives and discussed potential strategies for further improvements in NITB’s functionality. Plans for subsequent meetings were also outlined, indicating a continued focus on refining the implementation of the directives.
