Federal Minister Inspects M-5 Motorway, Calls for Swift Completion and Enhanced Commuter Services


Multan: Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, conducted an inspection of the Jalalpur Pirwala section of the M-5 Motorway to assess the progress of ongoing construction projects.



According to Press Information Department, the minister was joined by the Secretary Communications and the Chairman of the National Highway Authority during the visit. Minister Khan emphasized the need for expedited work, instructing that all ongoing projects be completed promptly. He also reviewed service and rest areas, highlighting the importance of cleanliness and quality facilities for commuters.



Minister Khan stressed that passengers deserve high-quality amenities, insisting on top-tier services at rest areas. He ordered the acceleration of work on an under-construction mosque and prioritized public health and satisfaction. Continuous monitoring systems were mandated to maintain service and food quality standards.
