Islamabad, In a concerted effort to boost economic growth and attract foreign investment, the Federal Government of Pakistan has outlined a series of initiatives designed to revitalize the national economy and expand employment opportunities for the youth.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a joint news conference in Islamabad, PML-N leaders, including Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of State for Information Technology, Romina Khurshid Alam, and Rana Mashhood Ahmed, shared insights into the government’s strategy for economic recovery.
Minister Khawaja highlighted the government’s commitment to increasing employment prospects through skill development training, aimed at equipping young people with the expertise required by both local and international industries. She also announced the operationalization of the Special Technology Zones Authority and the establishment of IT parks as measures to foster foreign investment in Pakistan.
Further, the initiative to establish co-working spaces across the country was introduced as part of efforts to support e-employment and entrepreneurship among the youth. Minister Khawaja assured that despite the tough economic decisions that may be necessary, the government would ensure the protection of underprivileged communities.
Rana Mashhood emphasized the revival of the economy as the paramount challenge faced by the federal government, asserting that a comprehensive vision is being followed to navigate through the economic hurdles.
