Islamabad: In a significant move to enhance educational leadership and ensure smooth academic operations, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has completed the appointment of Heads of Institutions across 113 educational facilities in Islamabad and surrounding areas. This initiative is in line with the commencement of the new academic session, aiming to ensure continuity in academic planning and administration.
According to Press Information Department, the Director General approved the proposals submitted by all six Area Education Officers after thorough review. The appointments include 51 male and 62 female Heads of Institutions, reflecting a balanced approach across various sectors. The distribution covers a wide area, with Nilore leading with 45 institutions, followed by Bhara Kahu with 26, Sihala with 20, Tarnol with 10, Urban-I with 8, and Urban-II with 4.
A key consideration in the posting process was to assign Heads of Institutions within their respective sectors, ideally close to their residences. This strategy is expected to improve administrative efficiency, foster institutional ownership, and enhance overall performance outcomes. The timely placement underscores FDE’s commitment to effective governance, strengthened academic management, and the delivery of quality education across its institutions.
