Islamabad: Sahibzada Farhan of Islamabad United has etched his name in cricket history by becoming the fifth cricketer globally to achieve four T20 centuries within a calendar year.
Farhan achieved this milestone by scoring a century against Peshawar Zalmi, marking his fourth century in just a month. His performance places him among an elite group of T20 batsmen, including Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Jos Buttler, and Shubman Gill, who have accomplished the same feat.
Farhan’s first century in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was completed off 49 balls, showcasing his skill and consistency. His four centuries were scored in just nine innings, highlighting his remarkable form.
This achievement has not only added a new chapter to Farhan’s career but also reinforced his position as a prominent player in the T20 cricket arena.
