Islamabad: A farewell ceremony was held at the Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad to honor Inspector Ejaz Ahmed Ghazi, marking his retirement from the Islamabad Police Model Jail. According to Islamabad Capital Police, the event was attended by several notable figures, including SSP Federal Prisons Ali Akbar, who served as the chief guest, and DSP Training from Capital Police College, Mashooq Dahri, along with other police officers.
SSP Federal Prisons commended Inspector Ghazi for his service to the department, noting that retirement is an inevitable part of a police career. He remarked on the importance of performing commendable deeds during one’s service so they are remembered positively. The SSP emphasized the duty of all officers to serve the public diligently as a means of seeking divine approval.
Inspector Ghazi expressed his gratitude for the recognition and appreciation he received from the police department. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of an honorary police shield and gifts to the retiring officer, along with well-wishes for his future endeavors.
