Karachi, November 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):An electric vehicle operated in the city under the National Radio Transmission Company was brought to the Governor House. Governor Sindh Kamran Khan inspected the electric vehicle from Treasury. Later, the Governor of Sindh travelled in it from the Governor’s House and described it as a great gift for the city. He said that people will get modern travel facilities with electric vehicles in the city.
While giving a detailed briefing about electric vehicles to the Governor of Sindh, he was told that the battery of an electric vehicle can be charged in 20 minutes and a full battery can cover a distance of 240 km. while the electric vehicle has a seating capacity of 33 passengers.
On this occasion, the members of the United Coordination Committee Abdul Haseeb Khan, Abdul Waseem, Abdul Qadir Khanzada, Abdul Rauf Siddiqui, President Arts Council Ahmed Shah, famous actor Sajid Hassan and Well-known cricketer Tauseef Ahmed was also present. Speaking to the media, Governor Sindh said that the arrival of electric vehicles in the city is welcome Modern travel facilities will be available to the residents of Karachi.
In response to a question, Governor Sindh said that the position of the governor is constitutional. I am the governor of the province and all its parties. We should sit down and talk and create a province wherever we feel the need.
In response to the question related to working relationship, Governor Kamran Khan Tessori said that there is no problem with the appointment of the administrator, and Muttahida has a principled stand on it that 140-A and delimitation should be discussed with friends of the PPP. Discussions are going on, as soon as there is progress, everyone will see the administrator of Muttahida the next day.
He further said that the purpose of the meetings with the leaders of all political, religious and different schools of thought is to increase love by ending the distances. And welfare works will be seen to be done rapidly.
In response to another question, he said that the governor of Sindh does not have executive powers, but when Allah gives power, he is also empowered, but the governor’s house is doing its best to discuss with the government of Sindh. Welfare works can be done, so I am trying to end the distance by establishing an atmosphere of love.
In response to the question asked about the local elections, Governor Sindh said that the local elections must be held and this is what the people of the province want. But matters should also be settled with reference to delimitation and security.
