LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz fulfilled a promise as electric buses arrived in Mirpur, following the chief minister’s directions. Celebrations erupted across the city, marked by drumbeats and public gatherings.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the electric buses’ arrival was commemorated by citywide festivities. The event saw participation from various segments of the population, including elderly residents, youth, and children, who expressed their enthusiasm for the development. The electric buses entered the city in a procession, accompanied by the sound of drums, highlighting the community’s excitement.
