Egyptian Foreign Minister Commends Pakistan on US-Iran Memorandum


ISLAMABAD: In a recent telephonic conversation, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty extended congratulations to Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Egyptian Foreign Minister praised Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond. Abdelatty and Dar also discussed the positive implications of this development on the global economic outlook.



The conversation further covered the upcoming Regional Four (R-4) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, which includes Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Al Alamein, Egypt, in the coming days.
