Lahore: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb stated that the government is making concerted efforts to stabilize the country’s economy, which he claims is on the right track. Speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he emphasized the administration’s commitment to alleviating economic pressures on citizens.

The minister highlighted a marked decrease in both inflation and policy interest rates, pointing to these as indicators of progress. He stressed that the government’s primary objective is to provide relief to the general populace.

Aurangzeb noted that the government is actively monitoring the prices of essential goods on a daily basis to ensure stability.

He also acknowledged the crucial role of traders in national development and assured that their concerns are being addressed with urgency.
