DPM and Saudi Ambassador Discuss Regional Developments and Cooperation


Islamabad: The Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, met with the Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy in Islamabad today to discuss regional developments and bilateral cooperation. The meeting focused on the implications of the recently signed Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and efforts to facilitate dialogue and diplomacy in the region.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Saudi Ambassador expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s ongoing contributions to regional peace and security, particularly through initiatives like R-4 and its pivotal role in mediating the Islamabad MoU. The discussions underscored a mutual commitment to enhancing Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations across various sectors of mutual interest. Both parties emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to address regional challenges and promote stability.
