DPM Acknowledges Pakistani Diaspora’s Impact on UK Relations


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar underscored the significant contribution of the Pakistani diaspora in strengthening the ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom during a meeting with Yasmin Qureshi, a Member of British Parliament and Special Envoy of the UK Prime Minister.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting took place in Islamabad, where the two officials discussed the ongoing Pakistan-UK relations. The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the crucial role played by the large Pakistani community in fostering diplomatic and cultural connections between the two nations.



During their conversation, Ishaq Dar also praised Yasmin Qureshi for her efforts in enhancing bilateral relations. The Deputy Prime Minister recognized her dedication to promoting cooperation and understanding between Pakistan and the UK.



The meeting reflects the ongoing dialogue and mutual interest in strengthening diplomatic ties, with the Pakistani diaspora serving as a bridge between the two countries.
