Diplomatic Credentials Presented to President Zardari by Six Envoys


Islamabad: The envoys from Ethiopia, Spain, Cuba, Portugal, Singapore, and Tanzania presented their diplomatic credentials to President Asif Ali Zardari in a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr. The event, held on April 7, 2026, marked the formal commencement of their diplomatic duties in Pakistan.



According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ceremony saw President Zardari receiving credentials from Dr. Oumer Hussain Oba of Ethiopia, Mr. Carlos Aragon Gil de la Serna of Spain, Mr. Damian Cordero Torres of Cuba, Mr. Paulo Miguel Guedes Domingues of Portugal, Mr. Ishak bin Ismail of Singapore, and Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Yacoub H. Mohamed of Tanzania. The president congratulated the envoys on their new roles and emphasized the significance of their contributions to fostering cooperative ties between their respective countries and Pakistan.
