ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, has directed a swift resolution of grievances faced by police officers in the capital, following instructions from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad. In an orderly room held on Saturday, officers from the Operations division were invited to present their concerns, both personal and official, to the DIG.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the DIG instructed senior police officials to re-evaluate serious matters and expedite the resolution of outstanding issues. He highlighted several welfare initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for police personnel, such as housing, medical facilities, and education standards.

During the session, the DIG assured officers that his office would remain accessible to them, emphasizing the importance of collective effort for the city’s improvement. The orderly room aimed to address the welfare and professional challenges faced by police officers on a priority basis, underscoring the administration’s commitment to addressing their needs.
