DIG Islamabad Takes Action on Officer Grievances, Focuses on Welfare Issues


Islamabad: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, conducted an orderly room to address grievances of police officers, prioritizing their welfare concerns. This initiative follows directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, aiming to resolve departmental and personal issues faced by the officers efficiently.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, officers from the Operations division participated in the session, where they presented their issues to DIG Islamabad. The DIG instructed senior officers to renew inquiries into serious matters and ordered the prioritization and resolution of outstanding issues. He highlighted ongoing initiatives aimed at improving housing, medical facilities, and educational standards for police officials. DIG Tariq assured officers of open communication, emphasizing collaboration for the betterment of the city, and reiterated the orderly room’s purpose as a platform for addressing welfare and personal concerns.
