Islamabad: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, convened an orderly room on Wednesday to address and resolve the grievances of police officers, both departmental and personal, as per the special directions from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad. The meeting aimed to ensure that issues faced by Islamabad Police officers are dealt with in a timely manner, with particular emphasis on welfare concerns.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the orderly room saw participation from officers within the Operations division, who presented their personal and official issues to DIG Tariq. In response, the DIG directed senior police officers to revisit and complete inquiries into serious matters and instructed that other issues be prioritized and addressed accordingly.

During the session, DIG Islamabad highlighted several ongoing initiatives designed to enhance the welfare of police officials, including improvements in housing, medical facilities, and educational standards. He encouraged officers to approach his office with any issues and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts towards the city’s betterment. The orderly room was organized to prioritize the resolution of police officers’ welfare, personal, and official issues.
