DIG Islamabad Addresses Officer Grievances, Prioritizes Welfare Issues

ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, conducted an orderly room meeting to address grievances and welfare issues of police officers, following directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad. The meeting aimed to ensure the timely resolution of departmental and personal concerns of the Islamabad Police.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, officers from the Operations division attended the session where they presented their issues to the DIG. In response, DIG Tariq directed senior police officers to revisit inquiries into serious matters and prioritize the resolution of other outstanding issues. He highlighted initiatives for police welfare, such as housing, medical facilities, and educational improvements.

DIG Tariq reassured the officers that his office remains open to address any issues they face, emphasizing the need for collective effort toward the city’s betterment. The orderly room’s objective, he reiterated, is to prioritize the resolution of welfare, personal, and official issues of police officers.
