Deputy Prime Minister Urges Dialogue for De-Escalation in Middle East

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has emphasized the necessity of promoting de-escalation in the Middle East through dialogue and diplomacy. The call for action was made during a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador, Jiang Zaidong, who visited him in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between Dar and Zaidong centered on regional and global events that are currently unfolding. Both parties reiterated their commitment to the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between their nations and agreed to maintain close cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
