Deputy Prime Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthen Pakistan-Italy Ties


ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, has reiterated his commitment to enhancing relations with Italy, following a meeting with the Italian Ambassador, Marilina Armellin, in Islamabad. This meeting marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to bolster cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, education, and labor mobility between the two nations.



According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Armellin, who was on a farewell visit, was congratulated by Deputy Prime Minister Dar for her tenure and her contributions to strengthening the bilateral relationship. During the meeting, Dar highlighted the growing cooperation between Pakistan and Italy and underscored the importance of continuing to develop these ties. Ambassador Armellin expressed her gratitude for the support she received during her time in Pakistan and acknowledged the progress made in the partnership between the two countries.



The Deputy Prime Minister also extended his best wishes to Ambassador Armellin for her future endeavors, signaling a positive note on which her term in Pakistan concludes.
