Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar expressed appreciation for the ongoing close contact between Pakistan and the European Union amid the current regional situation. This sentiment was conveyed during a phone conversation with EU High Representative and Vice President, Kaja Kallas.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister shared updates regarding the recently conducted Islamabad Talks. Kallas praised Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating direct negotiations between the United States and Iran, which took place in Pakistan.
Both leaders underscored the importance of sustained dialogue and diplomacy to resolve ongoing conflicts. They also evaluated the positive trajectory of cooperation between Pakistan and the European Union, agreeing to maintain close contact on matters of mutual interest.
