Islamabad: The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, is set to visit China on March 31, 2026, at the invitation of China’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Wang Yi. This visit underscores the ongoing strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, allowing both nations to engage in detailed discussions on regional, bilateral, and global matters of shared interest.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the relationship between Pakistan and China is marked by an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, characterized by close coordination and regular consultations on various regional and international issues. The upcoming visit will serve as a platform for both countries to explore and deliberate on developments in the region as well as issues of mutual significance.

Despite medical advice to rest due to a hairline shoulder fracture sustained yesterday, Senator Dar’s decision to proceed with the visit reflects the priority that Pakistan places on its diplomatic and strategic relations with China.
