Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its relationship with China, emphasizing the enduring nature of the alliance between the two nations. Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China in Islamabad, Dar highlighted the partnership as a model of mutual trust and cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Dar underscored the historical depth of the Pakistan-China relationship, which has been fostered by successive generations of leaders and reflects the aspirations of both countries’ populations. He noted the unwavering support both nations have extended to each other in terms of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and core interests.

Dar also pointed to the significant impact of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in transforming Pakistan’s economy by addressing energy shortages, improving infrastructure, and creating employment. The second phase of CPEC, he mentioned, will focus on high-quality development across various sectors including industrialization, agriculture, mines and minerals, information technology, and human resource development.
