Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan Arrives in Saudi Arabia for Strategic Meeting

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Madinah Munawwarah in preparation for a significant meeting in Riyadh under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. This visit marks an important diplomatic engagement for Pakistan with key regional partners.

According to Press Information Department, Senator Dar was welcomed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s Consul General in Jeddah, and officials from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Saudi Royal Protocol. During his time in Madinah, Senator Dar visited the sacred Roza-e-Rasool ? where he offered prayers focusing on the peace and prosperity of Pakistan and the broader Muslim community. He also visited Jabal Uhud to pay homage to the Shuhada-e-Uhud.

Following his visit to Madinah, Senator Dar traveled to Riyadh to take part in the meeting of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee (SPDC). In this meeting, he is set to collaborate with Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and their counterparts from Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. The discussions are expected to address strategic political and defense matters, reinforcing the partnerships among these nations.
