Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephonic discussion with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, focusing on pressing regional and international developments. The dialogue placed a significant emphasis on the escalating situation in Palestine.

According to Radio Pakistan, both officials voiced their deep concern over the ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank. They also addressed the repeated violations occurring at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions affecting the Palestinian population.

In addition to expressing their unwavering support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, Dar and Fidan discussed a proposal from Jordan to hold a meeting involving Arab and Islamic nations. This proposed gathering aims to coordinate diplomatic efforts to bolster support for the Palestinian cause.
