Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephone discussion with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to exchange perspectives on recent diplomatic understandings between the United States and Iran. The conversation took place ahead of the scheduled signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two ministers focused on the implications of the US-Iran understandings and deliberated over the necessary preparations for the upcoming Regional Four (R-4) Foreign Ministers’ meeting later this month. The leaders agreed to maintain close communication as the events unfold.
