ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has called for a focused effort to underscore the strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China, as preparations are underway for the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister presided over a meeting to review the arrangements for the anniversary celebrations, which are set to take place in Beijing on May 25. The meeting also covered the Pakistan-China Business to Business Investment Conference, scheduled for May 24 in Islamabad.

During the meeting, Ishaq Dar instructed officials to ensure that the events are meticulously organized to mark the milestone in the bilateral relationship. He stressed the importance of celebrating the longstanding friendship and emphasizing the strength of the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, which is based on mutual trust, respect, and shared goals for peace and development.
