Islamabad: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan has extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the nation and the Muslim world, emphasizing the festival’s lessons of sacrifice, patience, and selflessness.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Syedal Khan highlighted Eid-ul-Adha as a time for reflection on personal sacrifices beyond the slaughtering of animals, urging citizens to prioritize the collective good and the will of Allah. He called for overcoming personal differences and political divisions for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
Khan reminded the nation of Pakistan’s foundation on sacrifices and stressed the importance of including economically challenged individuals in the celebrations. He urged remembrance of martyrs and defenders of the homeland for their contributions to national peace and security.
He also called for prayers for Palestinians, those in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, and oppressed Muslims globally, wishing for unity in the Muslim Ummah and worldwide peace. Khan concluded with prayers for the acceptance of sacrifices and adherence to the spirit of Eid-ul-Adha.
