QUETTA: Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan Nasar, emphasized his steadfast dedication to the advancement and prosperity of Balochistan, asserting that the welfare of the province’s citizens and sustainable progress remain his foremost priorities.

According to Senate of Pakistan, Nasar made these remarks during a ceremony at Serena Hotel Quetta, where the Chairman of the Balochistan Tribal Union, Sardar Akbar Khan Kharoti, awarded him an honorary shield in recognition of his public service and significant contributions to the province’s development. The event saw attendance from a diverse group of individuals, including legal professionals, social figures, and youth representatives, who acknowledged his efforts.

In his acceptance speech, Nasar expressed gratitude for the honor, viewing it as a testament to the people’s trust in him. He reiterated his commitment to fostering the province’s development, enhancing opportunities for the youth, and promoting national unity. Nasar also underscored the government’s dedication, along with state institutions, to advancing Balochistan’s progress by leveraging all available resources, while thanking the ceremony’s organizers and attendees for their support.

During a subsequent meeting in Quetta, Nasar engaged with Chairman Quetta Development Foundation Bismillah Nasar, senior advocate Sohail Ahmed Rajput, President Quetta Foundation Afnan Ahmed Kakar, and other social leaders. The discussions centered around Balochistan’s development, public welfare, and addressing critical challenges, with the delegation commending Nasar’s efforts.

Nasar highlighted the government’s practical steps, under the leadership of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, towards ensuring Balochistan’s development and providing relief to its people. He noted the rapid implementation of development projects, promising visible positive impacts soon. Nasar also emphasized the province’s rich natural resources and the government’s initiatives to harness the potential of the youth, enabling progress and prosperity.
