ISLAMABAD: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar engaged in separate meetings with political leaders, tribal elders, and civil society representatives at the Parliament House, underscoring a commitment to the development of Balochistan, national unity, and lasting peace.

According to Senate of Pakistan, the discussions revolved around the country’s political, economic, and security landscape, with a focus on democratic strengthening, public issue resolution, national unity promotion, and the sustainable development of Balochistan. Participants included Chairman of the National Awami Party (Pakhtunkhwa) Khushhal Khan Kakar, former Senator Syed Ehsan Shah, Senator Naseema Ehsan, and various tribal and civil society leaders.

Deputy Chairman Nasar emphasized the Federal Government’s priority on Balochistan’s development under Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, highlighting initiatives in public services, infrastructure, and employment. He pointed out the potential of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s natural resources in driving economic growth.

He reiterated his dedication to collaborating with elected officials, tribal leaders, and civil society to tackle public issues, empower youth, and advance socio-economic progress. Nasar also stressed the government’s determination, in partnership with security institutions, to uphold peace and combat terrorism.

The delegations expressed appreciation for Nasar’s efforts and confidence in the government’s plans to foster peace, development, and national unity, concluding with prayers for Pakistan’s security and prosperity, particularly in Balochistan.
