Deputy Chairman Senate Condemns Acid Attack on Doctor in Balochistan


Islamabad: Deputy Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Syedal Khan, has condemned an acid attack on Dr. Mah Noor in Balochistan, calling it a cowardly and intolerable act. He highlighted the nation’s support for Dr. Noor and urged authorities to ensure she receives the best possible medical care and that preventive measures are implemented to avoid future incidents.



According to Senate of Pakistan, Syedal Khan described Dr. Mah Noor as a national figure dedicated to humanitarian service, emphasizing that violence against doctors is unacceptable. He expressed solidarity with the medical community and the nation, which have been deeply saddened by the incident. Khan confirmed his direct communication with the Government of Balochistan and relevant institutions regarding the case.



He praised law enforcement for swiftly bringing the perpetrator to justice and called for sustainable measures to prevent similar attacks. Additionally, Khan acknowledged the support provided by the Government of Balochistan to Dr. Noor and stressed the need for a safe environment for doctors, particularly female doctors.



Khan concluded by reaffirming the nation’s support for Dr. Mah Noor, emphasizing that such acts only strengthen the resolve for justice and security.
