Death Anniversary of Dr. Israr Ahmed Observed Across Pakistan

Karachi: The 15th death anniversary of Dr. Israr Ahmed, a prominent religious scholar, is being observed today. Dr. Ahmed, who passed away in 2010, is remembered for his significant contributions to Islamic scholarship and religious education.

Dr. Ahmed completed his Master’s degree in Islamic studies at Karachi University in 1965. He dedicated his life to promoting a Quran-based Islamic philosophy, aiming to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation of Islamic teachings.

In recognition of his work in the field of religious education, Dr. Ahmed was awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz in 1981. His efforts have left a lasting impact on religious scholarship within the country.
