Dar Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Strengthen Ties with Gulf Nations


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, has reiterated the nation’s dedication to bolstering its relations with Gulf countries. Speaking at the conclusion of the five-day Regional Envoys’ Conference in Islamabad, Dar emphasized the importance of enhancing political, economic, and people-to-people connections with these key regional partners.



According to Radio Pakistan, Senator Dar reviewed the discussions and recommendations that emerged from the conference. He underscored Pakistan’s commitment to increasing economic cooperation and promoting peace and stability in the region. The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the welfare of the Pakistani diaspora in the Gulf and globally as a primary concern for the government.



In his address, Dar pointed out Pakistan’s role in fostering regional peace and the need for ongoing engagement. He instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with heads of missions and relevant ministries, to maintain coordination, engage proactively, and effectively implement the conference’s recommendations.
