New York: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to deepening its ties with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), emphasizing enhanced collaboration in multiple sectors. His remarks came during a meeting with GCC Secretary General Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi at the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.
According to Radio Pakistan, the GCC Secretary General acknowledged Pakistan’s significant role in fostering regional peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy. He also recognized the strong partnership between Pakistan and the GCC member states. Both parties discussed potential expansions in trade, investment, energy, and security, and pledged to continue their joint efforts towards regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
