Dar Leads Talks to Bolster Investment Cooperation

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, chaired an inter-ministerial meeting to discuss strategies for boosting investment cooperation with Pakistan’s allied nations.

The meeting saw participation from senior officials across several key departments, including the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), and the ministries of foreign affairs, petroleum, information technology, National Highway Authority (NHA), finance, and communications.

The assembly focused on evaluating proposals related to energy, infrastructure, trade, and technology. These discussions aimed at identifying strategic projects that could enhance Pakistan’s economic ties and sectoral partnerships with friendly countries.

Senator Dar highlighted the significance of finalizing strategic initiatives to strengthen these partnerships. He stressed the necessity of collaboration across pivotal sectors as a means to promote long-term economic growth and development for the nation.

The meeting underscored Pakistan’s commitment to reinforcing its economic relations with partner countries, setting the stage for more concrete cooperative ventures in the near future.
