Islamabad: Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Daniyal Chaudhry, has announced that the government is committed to reducing electricity tariffs to provide maximum relief to the public.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Chaudhry emphasized the government’s dedication to delivering on its promises to the people of Pakistan. He stated that the administration firmly opposes hatred and incitement, focusing instead on tangible benefits for citizens.
One significant initiative mentioned by Mr. Chaudhry is the Uraan Pakistan program, which he claims will elevate the country’s economy to a trillion-dollar status by the end of the current government’s tenure.
Highlighting recent achievements, Mr. Chaudhry noted that 19 million schoolchildren have benefitted from the Punjab Chief Minister’s program, which provides daily meals. In contrast, he criticized the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, pointing out ongoing corruption issues and the closure of an accountability cell meant to address such challenges.
These remarks were made during a session reported by Pakistan Television, where Mr. Chaudhry outlined the government’s strategic priorities and ongoing initiatives.
