Karachi: Corporate Pakistan posted robust earnings growth in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, according to Khurram Schehzad, Finance Minister’s Adviser. Despite a challenging global landscape, the country’s corporate sector has shown significant financial resilience.
According to Radio Pakistan, Schehzad highlighted in a social media post on X that the earnings growth has been bolstered by lower operational costs, which have subsequently improved demand and consumption. The adviser noted that several sectors experienced substantial growth, indicating a stable recovery in the corporate sphere.
Further emphasizing the positive trend, Schehzad pointed out the pharmaceutical sector’s remarkable performance, which saw a 36 percent increase in growth during the same period. This sector’s impressive figures contribute to the broader picture of corporate stability and recovery in Pakistan’s economy.
