Jammu: President of the Congress chapter in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tariq Hameed Karra, has refuted the BJP-led Indian government’s claims of peace and normalcy in the territory, asserting that the ground situation remains grim.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Karra issued a statement in Jammu challenging the government’s narrative. He emphasized that the so-called normalcy stands exposed due to a series of violent incidents in the region.
Karra accused the Indian government of misleading the public by downplaying the deteriorating situation in the occupied territory. He described the condition in various parts of the Jammu region as alarming, contrary to the government’s assertions.
The statement from Karra underscores ongoing tensions and highlights the contested claims about the state of affairs in the region. His remarks add to the ongoing debate regarding the true situation in Jammu and Kashmir under the current administration.
