Srinagar, August 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):Indian National Congress has appointed Vikar Rasool Wani as the party’s president for Indian illegal occupied Jammu and Kashmir chapter. The Congress President, Sonia Gandhi, accepted the resignation of Ghulam Ahmed Mir from the post of party president for IIOJK chapter, a party statement said.
It said while Wani has been appointed president of the IIOJK unit, Raman Bhalla has been named the party’s working president in the territory. It added that senior leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad, has been appointed as the chairman of the campaign committee in the territory.
