Congress Accuses BJP of Divisive Politics in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu, The Congress party in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has openly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for engaging in what it describes as divisive and harmful politics to garner votes in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a meeting with party workers in Nowshera, Jammu, IIOJK Congress chapter president Vikar Rasool Wani condemned the BJP’s tactics. Wani argued that the party’s approach threatens the peace, harmony, and religious brotherhood not only in Jammu and Kashmir but across India. He expressed concerns over the impact of such politics on the social fabric of the region.

Additionally, Ravinder Sharma, the senior Vice President of the IIOJK Congress, echoed Wani’s sentiments, accusing the BJP of fostering hate and division. Sharma suggested that the electorate is becoming increasingly aware of the perils of the BJP’s saffron politics and noted a perceptible shift in public sentiment, which he claimed is causing consternation among the BJP’s top leaders.
