Communications Minister Orders Enhanced Facilities on Murree Expressway


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has reviewed the completion of up-gradation work on the Murree Expressway, directing the provision of additional rest areas and modern facilities to improve traffic flow and tourist experience. During his visit to the expressway, which included an inspection of the newly constructed roundabout at Lower Topa, Khan urged the National Highway Authority to adopt modern designs and ensure quality services for travelers.



According to Press Information Department, Khan emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and providing basic amenities at the newly constructed rest areas and mosques. He also highlighted the necessity of adopting high-quality designs for future projects and acknowledged the cooperation of the local population in the improvements made to the expressway. Khan’s directives aim at enhancing the expressway’s appeal and safety for visitors traveling to the area.
