Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Advocates for Increased Investment Across Pakistan’s Economy


Islamabad: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan highlighted vigorous efforts to attract investments across all sectors during his speech at the inauguration of the 9th Pakistan Footwear Material and Machinery Show in Lahore today.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Kamal expressed the government’s commitment to facilitating the business community to enhance economic growth and development. He emphasized the focus on promoting investment and trade opportunities, particularly praising the participation of Chinese delegates in the exhibition, which he said underscores the strengthening international business relationships.



Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan also spoke at the event, noting the positive development of ties between the Pakistan Footwear Association and international brands. He mentioned the government’s initiative to increase the number of trade officers as a step towards better business-to-business connectivity.



Both ministers expressed gratitude towards the Chinese delegates for their involvement and encouraged them to view Pakistan as a prime location for business ventures. The event also saw the ministers visiting various stalls, engaging with exhibitors and discussing potential business opportunities.
