Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the launch of the province’s first-ever talent hunt and youth internship programs, aiming to provide young athletes with opportunities to showcase their skills. She emphasized that women athletes would receive equal opportunities to excel.
In a directive to the relevant authorities, the Chief Minister called for a comprehensive plan to implement these programs. She also highlighted the need for financial autonomy within the Sports Department to ensure there are no disruptions in employee salaries.
The Chief Minister further instructed the authorities to prepare a detailed plan for initiating a youth internship program in Punjab, underscoring the government’s commitment to empowering the younger generation.
