CJP Announces Monument for Fundamental Rights at Supreme Court Building

Islamabad, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, has revealed plans to establish a monument for fundamental rights within the premises of the Supreme Court, emphasizing the Court’s commitment to justice.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Justice Isa, while addressing an event in Islamabad, shared the Supreme Court’s recent achievements in efficiently handling cases. He reported that 504 cases were resolved last week, surpassing the 335 new cases filed. Between September and December 2023, the Supreme Court disposed of a total of 5,305 cases. The Chief Justice also announced the construction of a fundamental rights monument at the Supreme Court building, which will be accessible to the public. This initiative symbolizes the Supreme Court’s dedication to upholding and protecting the fundamental rights of citizens.
