Chinese Vice Foreign Minister in Islamabad for Crucial CPEC Meeting


Islamabad, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong has arrived in Islamabad today for a pivotal meeting on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Sun Weidong is set to participate in the fourth meeting of the CPEC-Joint Working Group on International Cooperation and Coordination. The meeting, which is scheduled for tomorrow in Islamabad, will be co-chaired by Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi and the Chinese Vice Foreign Minister.



During his visit, Sun Weidong is also expected to meet with senior Pakistani leadership, further underscoring the strong ties and ongoing cooperation between China and Pakistan, particularly in relation to the CPEC initiative.
