Islamabad: China’s Aerospace Development Industry Investment Group has shown interest in making a substantial investment in Pakistan, with plans to inject between five to ten billion dollars into the country’s economy.
According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting with Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, representatives from the Chinese delegation discussed potential areas for investment, including minerals, advanced technology, and industrial development. The meeting highlighted the group’s intent to pursue large-scale investments in these sectors.
Minister Sheikh informed the delegation about the ongoing regulatory reforms intended to facilitate investment. He emphasized that investors are being offered tax incentives within Special Economic Zones and sales tax exemptions on the import of machinery, aiming to create a more favorable business environment.
