Guangzhou: China has introduced a groundbreaking vaccine booster touted as the world’s most powerful, capable of amplifying immune responses to tumors and infections by up to 150-fold. This innovative development marks a significant advancement in the fight against cancer and infectious diseases.
Researchers involved in the study highlighted two primary benefits of this booster. It could enhance treatments for cancers such as melanoma and liver cancer, and it might improve the efficacy of vaccines against rapidly mutating viruses, such as those similar to the coronavirus responsible for COVID-19.
The research was a collaborative effort among scientists from Guangzhou’s Sun Yat-Sen University, Fudan University, and Liaoning University. Their findings were published in the journal Nature on March 27.
